New Work 2018 I enjoy creating ambiguity in my work, both in imagery and mood. Pieces are often dreamlike, objects or figures partially hidden or revealed, often elusive. Images are on the edge of recognition. I'm inspired by natural and urban landscapes, and by interiors. My most recent work employs high flow acrylics, old papers, pencil, and mica.

Current work is inspired by, and an homage to, the amazing trilogy, Broken Earth, by J.K. Nemisin. My pieces reflect both the hope and despair of a dystopian society upended by climate extremities that the book so beautifully recounts.
